    I'm a third year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science, UWM. My adviser is Dr.Hong Yu. Before coming to UWM, I recieved my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and master's degree in software engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

  • Citation Graph Analysis Try it!
        Research artiles can be linked into a graph by citation relations, and the graph is very useful for both information retrieval and social network analysis. I constructed the citation graph with both authors and articles. Random walks are performed on it and the ranking of articles and authors can be obtained. The network takes the advantage of mutual reinforcement of between the author and article, and our hypothesis is that our algorithm on this type of graph can enhance the rankings.

  • Citation Recognition Try it!
        We extract citations from biomedical literature with PDF format, including full citations and the corresponding cited context. Conditional Random Field model is used for paring the full citation to get each field. Plese contact me to get the latest version of source code.
  • Clinical EvidanceTry it!
        We use statistical machine larning apporaches to classify the literature, and discover the article which can be used for our clinical question answering system.
