Grading Policies

Make Up Work

Quizzes cannot be made up. If there is a conflict with an exam time you must contact me before the exam to work out an alternate time.

Programming Assignments

Programs must be turned in via email by 11:59pm on the day they are due. Late programs will not be graded and you will receive 0 for the assignment. Arraignments for special circumstances may be made on a case by case basis, but the request must be made before the day the program is due.

Programs which don’t compile and run cannot receive more than a 50% score on that assignment. You have the tools to make sure the program works, so use them.

Homework Assignments

Homework’s are due at the beginning of class on they day they are due. Please write neatly or type and, if applicable, show your work.

Academic Misconduct

Homework and program assignments must be complete by each individual. The sharing of answers or code is prohibited. You may talk about how you plan to solve the problem or write the program but you must not give answers or code to another person. It is alright to help a classmate debug some code, but you must not write code for him or her. Debug help should be credited to the person in the comment in your code.
